Andreja Tokić
She completed University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb, specialising in Physiotherapy (2000) and Occupational Therapy (2002). She did her internship in Split. Subsequently, she worked in the “Đulić” Tennis Centre in Široki Brijeg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as leader of the Physiotherapy Centre. In the Centre, she worked with preschool and school children who were training in tennis, and designed and initiated the “Physiotherapy Playroom” project, which was implemented in a private kindergarten in Široki Brijeg, where children learned through play about natural breathing, sitting and movement.
After returning to Split, she worked as organiser and leader of physiotherapy activities in the Association for the Preservation and Improvement of Health “Aktiv-Split”, where she continued implementing the “Physiotherapy Playroom” project in some twenty public kindergartens, which involved around 1,500 children. As part of the project, she also worked in the “Dva prijatelja” kindergarten for children with special needs. Working on postural retraining, she became increasingly involved in working with children with special needs. In parallel, she completed many courses, such as the Bobath Course, Normal Movement, Haliwich Swimming School, Three-dimensional Foot Mobilisation, Functional Taping with Japanese Strintex Tape, etc, all led by international trainers, as well as Bewegungs Evolution (Evolution of Movement) with Martina Kuntswald in Bremen, Germany.
After completing her specialisation as a hippotherapist in Slovenia, she founded the Croatian Hippotherapy Association in 2008, which she led until 2017.
Since 2003, she has been a member of the Croatian Society of Physiotherapists (HZF). From 2007 to 2017 she was President of the Admission Council of the Croatian Society of Physiotherapists.
She completed training in the Alexander Technique in Freiburg, Germany, in 2017 under Aranka Fortwängler. Since then, she has been a member of ATVD (Alexander-Technik-Verband Deutschland).
In the same year, after completing the study of Alexander Technique, she founded A.T. STUDIO d.o.o. She has a private practice in Kaštel Lukšić where she puts the Alexander Technique into practice, focusing mainly on work with children, orthopaedic, rheumatological and neurological cases.

Aranka Fortwängler
She learned about, and fell in love with, the Alexander Technique in 1974 while studying music in Freiburg, Germany. She has been working as an Alexander Technique teacher for 37 years. Since 1989, she has been leading her own Alexander Technique teacher-training school in Freiburg (ATAF). She was one of the founders of the German Alexander Technique Association (ATVD) and worked for many years as Assistant Professor of Alexander Technique at the Musical Academy in Karlsruhe, and nowadays she holds regular courses and training in the Alexander Technique all over Europe – and especially and most gladly in her homeland, Croatia. Richard Brennan
Richard Brennan has been an Alexander Technique teacher for nearly 30 years. He is the author of eight bestsellers on the Alexander Technique, which have been translated into 22 languages and are successfully sold throughout the world. He holds presentations, workshops and seminars in the USA and Europe. He has presented the Alexander Technique on British, Irish and Croatian television channels and radio stations, as well as in many newspaper articles. He is the author of “How to Breathe”, the first book about the Alexander Technique translated into Croatian. The book launch was held in October 2017, in the “Marko Marulić” City Library in Split. Hedda Mickausch
Hedda Mickausch is a physiotherapist who has been applying the Alexander Technique since 1987. She completed her teacher training in the Alexander Technique in 1992 in Jerusalem, at Shmuel Nelken’s school. She has been an assistant in several Alexander Technique schools, and since 2004 has been deputy director in the “Alexander-Technik Ausbildung Freiburg” under the leadership of Aranka Fortwängler. She also works as a physiotherapist and Alexander Technique teacher in the Rehabilitation Clinic of Psychosomatic and Inner Medicine in Glottertal, Germany. Since 2011, together with Aranka Fortwängler, she has held many Alexander Technique courses in Croatia (Zagreb, Split, Korčula).
Ellen Mroß
Ellen Mross is an Alexander Technique teacher, pianist and piano teacher. She lives and works in Freiburg, and she completed training in the Alexander Technique in 1992. Since 2004, she has been an assistant at the Alexander Technique school in Freiburg (ATAF). Since 2011, together with Aranka Fortwängler, she has held many AT workshops in Croatia (Zagreb, Split, Korčula, Dubrovnik). In her private practice, she works predominantly with musicians.
